James was born in Australia, and grew up in country Victoria, about 60 miles / 100 kilometers from the capital city, Melbourne.
James worked for the Australian Government for close to thirteen years, before accepting an early retirement program in 1998 where he travelled to the United States to visit friends, and met his future husband, Chris. After a long transition to living in the USA, Chris and James married in Canada in 2013, and shortly after, he became a permanent resident later that year. James took the next step and took the oath to become an US citizen in January 2020.
Travel has always been a passion shared between us both, and James has long been the guy to snap a picture and write a blog post, or more recently, social media post. He has a personal blog over at jamesnunn.com.
